It’s been a great couple of weeks for everyone at Carrick Knowe as we were given not one, but two special awards!
Last Friday, we were awarded a Digital Schools Award!
This is a huge honour for school who have worked incredibly hard over the past couple of years to make sure digital technologies are having a positive impact on learning and teaching.
A validator spoke to many of our children and staff on Thursday and she commented that “it was a pleasure to be a part of celebrating and providing recognition for your school’s use of digital technology to support learning and teaching”.
And on Tuesday, Eco Schools awarded us with our 8TH GREEN FLAG!
We’d like to say a special thank you to Ms Pincock for the enormous amount of work she does including the vast array of initiatives she has promoted to make our school more environmentally friendly as well as the links she has made with our local community.
