A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who took part in The Big Walk and Wheel 2023.
It has been INCREDIBLE to see so many of the children at Carrick Knowe Primary School choosing active ways of getting to school. I could not believe my eyes when I went to the scooter and bike sheds on Wednesday with the JRSOs and saw them absolutely jam packed with bikes and scooters.

It was fantastic to see so many children cycling, scooting, walking and wheeling to school during the Big Walk and Wheel and it is even better to see it continuing, even though the census has ended.
As a reward for coming 2nd in Edinburgh, we will be visited by the 3Sixty Stunt Team on Tuesday 6th June. They will set up in the back playground and put on a stunt show, on their BMX bikes, for the whole school. I’m sure it will be an afternoon to remember!
