The sun shone as we headed off to the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Tuesday. There was much excitement, and a few nerves, as we boarded the coach but the journey didn’t take long and we were soon seated ready to listen to author Mike Nicholson.
Mike Nicholson told us all about his series of ‘Murder Mystery Squad’ books and how he gets his ideas for all his stories. It was really fascinating and many of us came away inspired to write our own stories.
It was very exciting to receive a signed copy of his latest book. Even the adults got one!
The sun continued to shine as we had our lunch in the grounds. We even spotted ‘The Gruffalo’ wandering by.
