Last week, both Primary 3 classes got together in the dining hall to cook. We used tomatoes from the school allotment, which are grown in our polytunnel. Luckily, we had great support from all the parents who came along to help. We were shown how to chop by a chef and then made tomato soup. We found out tomatoes are a fruit rather than a vegetable.
Some us enjoyed the soup so much, we went back for more.
A big thank you to all our helpers, and those who volunteered, but we didn’t need, as we already had enough people. Cooking would not be possible without all your support.
