Both Primary 5 classes made vegetable and lentil curry in the last two weeks. We’re very pleased because we grew all the vegetables for the curry on the allotment, which included tomatoes, onions, garlic, potatoes and carrots. Unfortunately, our allotment carrots were very twisty, so we let families help themselves to these. Instead we bought straight ones, which were much easier to peel. Primary 5A loved the curry. When Primary 5B cooked, Ms Pincock accidentally put more curry powder in, and so not everyone loved it so much!

Pupils are now very good at drying up and wiping down tables. However, we couldn’t have managed this lesson without all our parent helpers. Thank you so much to those who volunteered.
