Part of this group’s RESPONSIBILITY is to look after our CKPS allotment scarecrow!…. So today work began on Skye the Scarecrow’s annual ‘new look’! …




There’s still more to be done so ‘watch this space’ for the next part of the process!
While we were outside we harvested one more tasty carrot and spotted an interesting bee enjoying some of the wildflowers …


This week Fred Frog was excited to receive a lovely card from one of his special P3 friends – he is proud of everyone’s excellent effort to improve their READING and WRITING skills …
Some of us were learning how to READ and SPELL words ending with the ‘NK’ sound; we learned this story: “I thiNK I stiNK!” We had fun using our rainbow writing wands to write ‘nk’ in the air before practising our joined-up handwriting to write different ‘nk’ words on pieces of paper; we then liNKed them together to make a paper chain! …


Last but by no means least … look who has been 🎉 ‘celebrating wider success’ 👏 …
Next week will be the last week of the MONTH of SEPTEMBER before OCTOBER arrives! This weekend I plan to go for a windy walk searching for colourful AUTUMN leaves and shiny conkers – if I’m lucky we’ll use them in school next week. Perhaps you’ll enjoy finding some too?
