Last Friday – 6th October, was the first House meetings led by the new House captains. They did a great job leading the session and telling their house about our Global charity ‘Save the children.’ Each house captain went through a PowerPoint which explained what Save the children aim to do as a charity across the world. Helping every child have an education, enough food to eat and medicine when they need it.
They then set their house a challenge – to create a poster about Save the children. The house captains are choosing the best 2 from their group and giving these to Mrs Canning who will then choose the best ones to display in the school.
The children from Primary 2-7 listened really well in their houses and then were very busy creating their lovely posters. It is going to be hard for the house captains and then Mrs Canning to choose the best ones!
