We have been busy in Primary 6 – fractions in maths, mystery writing, Diwali and learning about The Victorian era are just some of the things we have been doing.
We have been using technology a lot in our learning. We are getting good at using OneNote and we have been using the dictation tool to help us with our writing – bringing our notes to life and creating interesting sentences. We have also seen how highlighting our text and listening back to it can really help us to focus on our punctuation. Listening back to our writing can sometimes sound ‘wrong’ if we haven’t used the correct punctuation.

We have been enjoying the dry weather recently and making the most of our amazing school grounds. Next week we are focusing on ‘settings’ for our story writing and so we have taken some videos of our woods which will help us write some exciting descriptions of a setting for our stories.
