P4A have been learning about ‘Taking a Moment’ as part of our Building Resilience work. As a class we have investigated various ways we can successfully ‘Take a Moment’ to help calm ourselves down/regather our thoughts in times of stress or difficulty. To put our knowledge into practise we built Lego boats that were required to stay afloat during stormy waters. The children faced many challenges during this STEM challenge and all groups were required to make ongoing design changes after ‘testing out’ their boats. However, all the children were able to successfully ‘Take a Moment’ when necessary allowing them to successfully complete the challenge. Well done P4A.
