DID YOU KNOW?!….. Dyslexia Awareness Week 2017 takes place from 6th-11th November with events happening across Edinburgh and Scotland.

Below is a link to the launch of Dyslexia Unwrapped, Dyslexia Scotland’s new website for children and young people with dyslexia. There is a FREE event on Thursday 9th November but you need to book in advance via the link below:

You may already have noticed a display board with a small presentation about Dyslexia in CKPS on a board to the right of the main entrance to the gym hall. If not, next time you’re in school look out for it as in the pictures in the slideshow below….. 

At CKPS, our Primary 4 pupils have been thinking about Resilience; they used Dyslexia Scotland’s children’s presentation to help them to think about this. They watched a short film about a young girl called Chloe. Maybe you might like to watch one of the short youtube clips as below:
