P7A Lockdown Blog – Mr Brewer

Page

Friday 26th June:

Make sure to check out P1 blogs today for a message from some of your buddies…

Well, here we are!

Somehow, we made it to the end of the year, and it’s now time to move on to bigger and greater things. It was great seeing most of you yesterday and hearing about how you’re feeling about moving on to high school after summer. You will all be FANTASTIC, regardless of how nervous you are. Work hard, make lots of friends, and try new things!

I’ve written a wee farewell message in your yearbook, but I’d just like to reiterate how proud I am of you all. Despite being apart, you’ve shown so much resilience and optimism over the past couple of months. I’m certain that you’ll all continue to flourish in your brand new school.

Every teacher I have spoken to speaks very highly of you, and remembers you all as an incredible year group. I’d love to know how you are all getting on, so please keep in touch!

Thanks for being an amazing class 🙂

Enjoy your well-deserved summer holiday,

Mr Brewer

Thursday 25th June:

EVERY member of staff wanted to shake hands with you all, hug you all and say our goodbyes face-to-face but unfortunately it’s just not possible right now. Instead we are relying on technology to do it this year and so the staff have all sent in videos wishing you the very best for the future!

One thing is for sure…
You will be the Primary 7 year group that nobody ever forgets!

Wednesday 24th June:

Good morning, 7A!

I have made a quiz for you all today. There are 10 questions, each worth 5 marks. Let’s see who can get 50/50! Simply click the below link to start the quiz:

P7A Quiz

We won’t have our class call today at 10 as I will see you all tomorrow from 9-12 to give you your yearbooks. If you can’t make this time, please let me know ASAP. Remember to bring your reading books with you!

Enjoy and let me know how you get on!

Mr Brewer

Monday 22nd June:

Good morning, everyone!

It’s your very last week of primary school EVER, so let’s make it count! Mr Morrison and I are really looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday when you pick up your yearbooks. PLEASE remember to being along any school reading books you still have at home, as we need them back for next year’s P7s!

We are also asking you to tie a message for your P1 buddy on the school gate, similar to the transition activity you did last week. We will give you a label to write a message on when you show up on Thursday, but feel free to do this on your own at any other point this week. The P1s will be coming along to see these messages during the holidays, so please make sure you do this – you don’t want your buddy being the only P1 without a message!

We know you might be finding it hard to keep yourselves motivated, so we’ve filled with week’s grid with some virtual school trips, as well as some other fun activities; basically, we’ve tried to recreate a typical “last week of term” as much as possible!

Virtual School Trips

Today’ virtual trip takes you to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. It uses Google Street View so you can navigate your way round the reef, so feel free to explore it at your own pace! There will be other school trips to other places each day this week.

Have a great day,

Mr Brewer
