A HUGE THANK YOU and A HAPPY RETIREMENT to our Pupil Support Assistants

Mrs Durie, Mrs Dalley, Mrs Roxburgh and Mrs Grierson!

Also…. on Friday 1st July we have to say a very special, extra BIG THANK YOU and FAREWELL to Mrs Matear, aka Joyce, after 32 years of 🌟 hard work and absolute dedication to pupils, parents/carers and staff. TEAM CKPS is not going to be the same without you! We hope you won’t miss us as much as we’ll miss you! 😢

And we’re also so sad to say goodbye to Miss Inglis and wish her all the very best in her NEW JOB. She will be remembered for lots of reasons, not least for her L❤VE of READING, SINGING 🎵 and all things FUN!

We’re so lucky to have such a great Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as well as other vital staff at CKPS, so we can’t let the school year end without THANKING all of them too!….

Here are some final photographs (for this term!) of Skye the Scarecrow watching over our allotment on Tuesday 28th June:

Pretty productive broad bean plants, and a dwarf bean battling against ?slugs/snails/birds – now doing well 🙂 ….

The springtime apple blossom has now become wee apples:

And the spring plum blossom has become summer plums which in autumn (when we’re back at school again) will be ready to harvest:

And finally, springtime’s pretty white pear blossom has now changed into perfect little pears:

It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the end of yet another school year! Thanks to everyone for all your hard work, support and enthusiasm. ENJOY YOUR MUCH DESERVED SUMMER HOLIDAY; on Friday 1st July we also say farewell 👋🏼 and all the very best to our amazing P7 pupils; I look forward to seeing our new and equally amazing P7 pupils 😉 as well as everyone else on Wednesday 17th August! Mrs Dale 🙂

Good Luck to all those who are retiring or moving on, including marvellous Mr Morrison. We’ll miss you all!

🐸 H A P P Y H O L I D A Y S ! 😎

PS Fred Frog’s hoping for some more mint ice-cream while on holiday (like the one Evah kindly gave him one day recently)!
