Office 365Children in P5-P7 all have access to Office 365. You can send/recieve emails, create presentations, documents, quizzes.
Scratch CodingScratch is a coding programme aimed at children. It’s very simple and can be used to create anything including animations, games, stories etc. There are projects you can follow or just start from… scratch!
Hour of CodeThere are many projects that children can do on here and usually they will take an hour to complete. Lots of step by step instructions with the difficulty gradually getting harder.
InterlandInterland is an online adventure provided by Google that teaches the key lessons of internet safety through four fun, challenging games. Play your way to being an Internet Legend!
ThinkuknowThinkuknow is the education programme from CEOP, a UK Crime Agency which protects children both online and offline. There are stories, games, activities, videos, advice and everything you need! We use lots of these in school and are suitable for all ages.
30 Day LEGO ChallengeExactly what it says on the tin – there’s a different LEGO challenge for each day.
Swift PlaygroundsThis is actually an app for the iPad which uses Apples own code. There are a series of lessons within the app.
Code MonsterThis is slightly more complex coding and looks at JavaScript – probably more for the upper primary. There is a prompt at the top which guides you through the different steps and you learn how to write and change commands.
Typing ClubDevelop typing skills using a very repetitive process – but very good!
BBC Dance Mat TypingDevelop typing skills using games from the Beeb.
