Scratch is a coding programme aimed at children. It’s very simple and can be used to create anything including animations, games, stories etc. There are projects you can follow or just start from… scratch!
There are many projects that children can do on here and usually they will take an hour to complete. Lots of step by step instructions with the difficulty gradually getting harder.

Thinkuknow is the education programme from CEOP, a UK Crime Agency which protects children both online and offline. There are stories, games, activities, videos, advice and everything you need! We use lots of these in school and are suitable for all ages.
This is slightly more complex coding and looks at JavaScript – probably more for the upper primary. There is a prompt at the top which guides you through the different steps and you learn how to write and change commands.
