On Wednesday 6th December, we welcomed representatives from the Scottish Government and Education Scotland as part of their ‘Call to Action’ launch.
Pupils were able to showcase some of the fabulous work CK have been doing linked to Sustainability – this includes our Outdoor Learning, UNCRC and Equalities and Diversity work.
Later that day, Mrs Canning, Mrs Iley and Mr Brewer went along to the Edinburgh Evening News Local Hero Awards where we were nominated for two awards – Sustainable School Award and the Nature Award. AND WE WON BOTH!
This was a huge achievement and recognises the work of our whole school! .
