Today, Tuesday 30th January, pupils from both Primary 4 classes, with the help of two Primary 7 pupils, walked along to Murrayside Care Home to support residents with the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. Pupils in P4 have been learning about birds and can now confidently identify nearly thirty common birds. Residents were keen to take part, either coming outside to spot birds with binoculars, or colouring in pictures of them. The children were super at interacting with residents, and also said how nice the older people were when they were talking to them. Great work Primary 4! I’m sure everyone at Murrayside appreciated the visit from you all.
