Today, pupils from both Primary 4 classes worked alongside residents from Murrayside Care Home to clean up litter on our local cycle path. We had good weather, and walked along to where the disused railway platform is near Pinkhill. We are very pleased to report, there wasn’t a lot of litter. Despite this, we cleared up two full black bags, much of it tucked away in the undergrowth. Residents from the care home enjoyed the change of scene, and a chance to chat to the children. We are very grateful to all our parent helpers, who made this trip possible.
