Welcome to the first blog post of the year. Throughout the year, we will use the blog to keep you up to date with everything happening in Primary 1. Often children might come home and say they did “nothing” at school today, but the pictures on here will tell a different story, and hopefully spark some interesting and meaningful conversations about their learning. The class always have access to an iPad which they can use independently to take photos of things they’re proud of.
Over the first few weeks we have been settling in to our new routines, getting to know new faces and exploring everything that P1 has to offer. Be sure to check back here regularly for updates on your child’s learning. Individual observations of your child will be done on Learning Journals 8 times per year. If you haven’t already signed up to Learning Journals, please use the letter sent home or the links are also available on this website in the Learning Journals section.
