The children are becoming more creative and experimenting with all the different toys that we have and taking pictures of their own. Popular choices this week have been construction outdoors as well as Mrs Butler’s treasure hunt. Next week we are going to explore the children’s interest further with some pirate Treasure maps. Most days, we reflect back on these pictures at the end of the day. The children are getting used to talking about what they were doing in the picture and we are slowly introducing ‘Meta-Skills’ for example, using their collaborating or leadership skills.
Responsibility Rory has been making his way to lots of houses for sleepovers with children who have been working hard to show our school value of responsibility. I wonder who he will go home with next week?
We have also been working with our P7 buddies to use the Sketchbook app on the iPad. This week we learnt how to trace and draw around our favourite character or object to make it our own.
