Yesterday, P5 went along to Murrayside Care Home to help residents celebrate St. Andrew’s Day. They’d voted for three of their favourite Scottish songs, and had practised them well. They’d even made up their own actions.

Several pupils also decided to recite their Scottish poems from last January.

Finally, one of our pupils brought in all her Scottish Dancing attire and performed for the residents.

Unfortunately, we were only at the home for half an hour, but the performances were so good and the residents so entertained, we all felt we could have stayed longer. Well done Primary 5! And yet again, thank you to our parent helpers and support staff, who made the trip possible.
