We discussed that prophecies from the Old Testament over 600 years before the birth of Christ told of the coming of a son. Also that the Angel who spoke to the shepherds was quite scary and not at all like the angel on top of the Christmas Tree. Did May and Joseph travel to Bethlehem on a donkey? We don’t really know. Were there three wise men, or more? Did they arrive soon after the birth of Christ or did it take them much longer – perhaps up to two years?
