The children visited Heriot Watt University yesterday. The children had been visited by a lecturer and a student a few weeks ago to obtain their ideas as to how they would like to see technology make the world a better place. Their ideas went back to the university students who developed their ideas and showed the children how these ideas could look in the real world. The children were allowed to grade the students on their work which they very much enjoyed doing. There was also the opportunity for the children to meet ‘Martin’ the robotic dog!
