This week children from P1, P2, P4, P5 and P6 took part in the Protect Our Future project. It aims to use art to amplify children and young peoples’ voices, calling for action on the climate emergency. The project aims to bring together the contributions from 10,000 children across Scotland, linking them together to create a paper chain that will be taken to and presented at the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood in Spring 2025. This artwork mirrors political petitions; a citizen’s opportunity to call for government action. Each young person’s art represents their signature.

Our Eco Reps helped collect the paper chains from classes across the school. This activity has been organised by Parsons Green Primary and our paper chains were delivered there at the end of the week.
