Mrs Mitchell’s daughter, Aimee came in with her friend Ailsa. They are both civil engineering students at Edinburgh University. They came in to talk to us about engineering and they gave us the challenge to make our own bridges. In groups of 3 we had figure out what we wanted it to hold. Everyone worked together in different teams to design and create their bridge. All the designs were incredibly creative and strong.
