🎵Oh what a BEAUTIFUL MORNING sky there was on Wednesday last week when I opened the blinds of the ASL (Additional Support for Learning) base; I could hear my dear Mum’s voice singing ‘Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’ from the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical ‘OKLAHOMA’! …

It’s hard to believe it, but November is over and gone! And now we’re in December 2025! So it’s time to work on preparing our new calendars, ready for the start of 2026. This time last year kind Mrs McMorris helped us to make our fantastic 2025 calendars, which might still be on display in some of our homes, like the one below which is in Fred Frog’s classroom – it’s now showing December on the date tab!

Look out for some more of our creations on the next ASL BLOG! Meanwhile, I know many of us will enjoy another kind of calendar, an ADVENT CALENDAR, by opening a little window each day, helping us to look forward to the CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR holiday with our families and friends.
This coming week will be yet another exciting one at CKPS! …
- We look forward to welcoming Mr Paton, when he visits. He will take over from me at the start of next term, when he’ll be employed as the school’s new ASL teacher. 😊
- And we will be treated to the CKPS Annual Nativity performance thanks to our P2 pupils, with a little help from P1 and P3 pupils, as well as LOTS of help from our terrific teachers and support staff. Fred Frog and I can’t wait to take our seats! 🐸😉 Mrs Dale
