Pumpkins
P1 have been growing pumpkin plants from seed. We sowed the seeds before the Easter holidays and we have been watching them grow in the P1 area outside the classrooms. Last week we had a special visitor (Ms Murphy’s Mum) who came to help us plant them in the allotment. We are now watering them every day in the allotment. We will be looking for volunteers to help water them during the summer holidays (an email will explain soon).
Butterflies
We got some caterpillars to look after and this week the butterflies hatched from the chrysalises. We fed them with some fruit and set them free in the allotment.
