Over the past few days, some of us have been listening and talking as we’ve shared our ideas and practised our joined-up handwriting – we’ve been preparing Christmas cards for a few special people! …



We also had some fun (while using our reading, drawing, spelling, observation and photography skills!) completing a variety of Christmas-themed activities, including …
… a ‘CHRISTMAS CLUES’ QUIZ …










… finding as many words as possible using the letters of MERRY CHRISTMAS (within 5 minutes!), arranging CHRISTMAS words in alphabetical order, and racing to the North Pole! …





… listening to and/or reading Christmas stories, singing Christmas songs and carols, searching for nine jigsaw puzzle pieces before making the jigsaws …












We also visited the allotment to see what was happening out there now that it’s WINTER ❄️. We spotted some of our crocus, muscari and daffodil bulbs peeping up through the soil – we planted them in AUTUMN 🍂; we made sure Skye the Scarecrow and her cat were feeling suitably included in our festive activities, and we practised our photography skills on what was a lovely sunny🌞Thursday! …
