Last weekend I saw a sign beside a frozen pond in a local park – the sign said, DANGER! ⚠️THIN ICE!… This reminded me of the skilful preparations our P5 pupils are making as they collaborate to create a puppet show performance about the book ‘Thin Ice’, which we’ve been reading together …

On Thursday, as some of us put the finishing touches to our 2024 CALENDARS, we realised that there are just 24 more days to go in 2023, so that means even less days for us to wait until CHRISTMAS 🎅 DAY! …

Thanks to our P7 ASL Literacy Buddies, Fred Frog’s P3 friends enjoyed cutting out some simple jigsaws which we then used to learn more about our Set 3 Sounds: the turquOIse OI sound: spoil the boy and the green EA sound, cup of tea

Perhaps you will walk past this amazing Carrick Knowe ‘Christmas wonderland’ over the weekend… it makes me SMILE every day, as I go to and from school …

That’s all for now! 👋 Have a great weekend, Mrs Dale
