This week we have been focusing on measure. At the beginning of the week we worked to find items which were bigger, the same size and smaller than our ruler (made of 10 cubes). We have spent time measuring things by how many hands long/wide they are as well as learning some new vocabulary that we need when talking about how big or small something is.

The children were interested in measuring themselves and looking at our heights, so we created a height chart. I wonder how much we will grow by the end of the year?

Finally, we looked at big buildings and how they make them so tall. We spoke about the CN Tower in Canada and had a go making our own, we hope you like them!
