Yesterday, Tuesday 13th February, we ran an allotment spring clean up. Luckily, the weather was sunny and dry. There were numerous tasks to be accomplished, but lots of parent and children turned up and an immense amount of work was completed. A compost bed was dug out, small trees dug out of beds, the polytunnel was repaired, weeded and tidied, most of the raised beds were weeded, brambles cut away, and the bottle shed weeded and tidied. A big thank you to Miss Murphy, Gemma, and all the parents and children who came to help. Super work everyone!
