Some of us in P4 have been practising words which include three letters which make one sound! We’re really good at using our fingers to help sound out and then spell the words using joined-up writing. Look at our neat writing – we know how to ‘dot and dash’ our words too – why not ask us to show you how we do this?! …

Meanwhile, some of us in P5 enjoyed a ‘FIX game’ while reading and spelling words with suffixes such as -less or -ness before adding a few more words to our ‘most common words’ posters; during our group time we chatted about and applied our ‘META-SKILLS’ of Integrity and Focusing! …
