In P4B we have one pupil who has a real interest in space and wanted to start a space club. He made posters to go on the windows and told the class about his plans. It was decided that the best way to promote his club would be to give him a ‘station’ at one of our focused play sessions. This became a rocket making masterclass. The pupil made a rocket at home out of junk and brought junk in from home for others to use. So many of the class joined in, making some amazing rockets which they were all very proud of.
A great display of so many skills, communication, cooperation, problem solving, creativity, initiative and leadership.
