P2 are learning about the weather. We thought about lots of different weather and watched some weather forecasts. We learned about using different symbols to describe the weather and then made our own. ☀️⛅️☁️🌦️🌧️⛈️🌩️❄️💨
We have been trying out being weather presenters ourselves. What does the forecast say today?
We started by thinking about the rain, as in Scotland we get a lot of it! After doing an experiment with a big sponge, we made some rainy art!
From art to music, we made a storm by only using our bodies! We used our body percussion to try to recreate wind, light rain that gets heavier and heavier and then becomes a thunderstorm! If you close your eyes when you listen, it really does sound like the different kinds of rain!
