Primary 6 have started the new term brilliantly with their outdoor learning. They’ve been learning about local bird species in preparation for the RSPB Big Schools’ Bird Watch and taking part in some communication games and challenges. With partners they have also taken their maths outdoors where they’ve used natural materials to create fraction walls and show fractions of amounts. I’ve been so impressed by their teamwork, focus and enthusiasm, we’re looking forward to lots more interesting outdoor learning lessons this term!
