It is almost the end of Term 3 for P5 and we have had a packed few weeks. This term our school value has been ‘kindness’ and we have had a secret mission – to be extra kind to someone in the class each week. There have been lots of complements being said to people in the class and people being extra helpful! We have also been on the look out for kind acts and the people who have been spotted doing the most have been able to look after our kindness crew (soft toys). Here is a picture of some of us with our kindness crew!

Last week we did some Bike-ability and we had fun doing some games and activities in the back playground. We also had a golf taster and some of us tried golf for the first times and were very good!

This week we had some visitors in doing an Easter presentation – explaining the story of Easter and telling us what Christians believe.

We had a Spring Fling led by some of the Primary 7s which got us all moving about the school grounds.

We finished off our money topic by setting up some stalls in the classroom and buying and selling some things. We were able to show off our skills of recognising and using coins, calculating amounts of money and working out how much change we should be getting. There was a real buzz in the classroom with lots of bargains to be had!

We finished off the week going to the church and some of us did a great job doing the readings in front of the whole school and visitors!

We all deserve a holiday now after all the work we have been doing and we need to get ready for the last term of Primary 5.
