This term we have been very busy doing lots of planting on our allotment and out in our school woods. Thanks to the support of our Parent Council we were able to get more than 150 plants and bulbs and all every class has been involved in the planting. We’ve planted a mixture of pansies, primroses and wallflowers in our raised beds on the allotment. We’ve also planted lots of garlic cloves so we’ll have lots more garlic to harvest next year and use in our tasty soups! Out in the woods, the P7s teamed up with their P1 buddies to plant lots of daffodil bulbs, we’re looking forward to seeing them sprout up in the springtime. Have a look at the photos of everyone’s hard work below and have a look at our colourful raised beds the next time you pass the allotment.
