Primary 6 have had a busy start to the new Term. Daisy, Hadassah, Evah, Layla and Zoe have created this blog to share what we’ve been up to so far.
Our trip to the Care home for birdwatch was really nice and we got to speak to the residents and make bird food and hang them on trees. There was also a drawing station and there were binoculars for the bird watch we also found some birds especially Tyler who found 9 pigeons. It was kinda exhausting to walk from the school to the care home and back but at least we had Fun and I hope we come back.
We were so excited when we found out that we were going to the care home it was so fun. There were different stations like a drawing station, a bird feeder making station and the bird watch station. We chatted with the residents they were so kind. When we made are bird feeders they were made with pig fat and bird seed, when we were done with that we took off are gloves and hung them up. We also made bird drawings, we could take them home and at the bird watch station when you were done we could take the sheets home it was amazing, we had so much fun.-Daisy
Scots
We have also been learning our Scots poems, and created an animation of a wee Scots haggis!
Los Saludos
In Spanish we have been learning Greetings and how to have a simple conversation, we worked with a partner to create a short conversation with a hello-greeting, ask a question and include a goodbye greeting, we then tested out these skills and used them to code characters in Scratch to have a conversation in Spanish.
