You’ll all be pleased to know that we are all here, we’re all smiling, we’re all eating and probably all still awake!
The day kicked off 120 miles away back at Carrick Knowe as all of our families packed into the gym hall before setting off. It’s safe to say there were mixed emotions as we spotted a few tears from some parents but also some gentle cheers too!
We made our first stop at Pitlochry for our toilet stop and the first of many photo opportunities this week.

Once we got there, we met Scrutts, dumped our bags, grabbed lunch and then went off to meet our instructors for the first time.
Then it was the hardest part of the day for many – bed making!

We don’t have proof yet but WE ALL ATE. I did promise them that I wouldn’t tell you all they weren’t as fussy as they make out at home!
Tonight was a riot as we blindfolded them all and sent them off around the woods with nothing but a rope to follow!

And also – it was Ms Doig’s birthday!

The children are tucked in, the teddies are tucked in and the lights are off…
Day 1 – TICK!
Tomorrow’s plan is to post more pictures of food and the bedtime teddies!
