Hello everyone,

This week we have been learning about tessellation in maths and we had a go making an animal pattern. On Wednesday we took the tram to Dynamic Earth. We went to a workshop which taught us about natural disasters and hazards. We got to hold real obsidian, lava bombs and ropey lava. After, we then went to the planetarium. On Thursday Murrayfield & Corstorphine Tennis Club came in and did a lesson with us, it was great! With Mrs McMorris we wrote a Scots story and we had to use different musical instruments to tell the story. Finally we drew our own volcano diagrams, stay tuned for us making own.

See you soon!

Happy Easter from everyone at Carrick Knowe! We return to school on Tuesday 21st April.
