Hi everyone,
We’re excited for a week off school next week. This week P5A have been working on maps in Minecraft. We each made an obstacle course in Minecraft with hidden treasures and traps. We then got other people to explore our maps and find the treasure. On Monday Theatres for Schools came and performed an Australian themed play which was cool to see. In maths we’ve been doing Money addition and subtraction and working out change. This week each table was given money and responsibilities to pay for. We learned about chance and certainty with what we do with our money. We could spend our money on different things in the classroom if we wanted to. Finally, we wrote our own newspaper reports based on a new invention. We had a ceilidh with P5B, Gay Gordons and and Canadian Barn Dance were our best dances.
