At Carrick Knowe, we are always encouraging children to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. On Wednesday, Primary 3 have learnt the importance of ‘eating a rainbow’, eating fruit and vegetables that are all different colours. This is because different coloured fruit and vegetables give us different nutrients. Then we went on to making fruit kebabs, using red apples, purple plums, green kiwis, yellow pineapples and orange satsumas. And then we ate them!

Happy Easter from everyone at Carrick Knowe! We return to school on Tuesday 21st April.
