This term both Primary 5 classes have been focusing on Fitness in P.E. with Mr Morrison. The skills that we have been working on are, vigorous and dynamic movements, stamina and flexibility. Both classes have really challenged themselves to keep going when things are tough and to try their hardest. Some of the key fitness activities have included boxing (focusing on accuracy) and strength work (such a planks and squats).

As we move towards the end of this unit, both classes have been set the challenge to work in teams to set up a fitness circuit for the other class to complete. They were able to use any equipment that we have been using so far, as long as there was a focus on the key skills for this unit. This week it was P5A’s turn to set up their activities for P5B and they were a huge success. I’m looking forward to see wat P5B create next week.
